We accidentally booked a room in ouray thinking it was farther north(trivago)we was wanting cooler weather so my question is how cool does it get at the end of August?..we are in Arkansas so idk if there is much difference in the heat
Id have to agree with Mark Stone, google the average temp. in ouray this time of year. But I know the snow isnt off the mountains until June, thats when they open the Jeep riding trails.
Does any of the waterfalls still flow in the August?
Yep, Box Canyon Falls is thunderous throughout the summer. Cascade Falls too, though slighter, never runs dry.
